- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆jackson hewitt RIPPED me off. I have always filed on my own. This year I trusted the wrong wrong company for the 1st & last time. I can't stop crying!!! I WAS NEVER APPRISED, ASKED, INFORMED, NOTIFIED OR REAFFIRMED OR KNEW OF A FEE FOR FILING 1040EZ. I went in and informed the lady that I needed to file 1040EZ form, yes a 1040EZ. She said okay. She informed me of my refund amount. I did not realize it until I got home, that I didn't get what I asked for. They charged me 40% of my tax return. $300.00 for 5 minutes in the office. They used 1040 NOT 1040EZ. as I have done every single year in the past. It's a shame they have to rip off & screw over the little person. I can't stop crying. I AM CONTACTING ALL THE LOCAL TROUBLESHOOTERS IN ORLANDO & POSTING & ASKING ALL MY FRIENDS TO KEEP REPOSTING THIS ON THEIR FACEBOOK & TWITTER ACCOUNTS!!!!! jackson hewitt ROBBED me blind.By Christina Reagan, May 09, 2017
